My percieved gender: It varies regionally
MC and I are vacationing in the Bahamas right now and I’ve never been “sir’d” so many times in my life. I think I understand the reasoning for this, but it feels kind of awkward since I am not being viewed as a 20-something adult and am often asked how old I am and where my parents are. I’ve read about other people’s experiences of their perceived gender varying depending on their location, and I can now attest to that.
I recently heard a gender-neutral term for genitalia that I liked: front nub.

I like to browse through the Craigslist personals every couple of days, particularly those with a keyword of “ftm”. I just came across a post advertising a “NYC FTM Sex Club”. I’m not sure if it’s legitimate, but it sounds somewhat interesting.

One Month on Testosterone Cream
It’s been one month since I started taking the correct dose of testosterone cream. The changes I’ve noticed so far are:
-My voice feels slightly deeper, but I’m not sure if it actually sounds deeper
-Increase in face, neck, and chest acne
-Increased energy
-More sweat
-Change in body odor
-Slight mood elevation
-Some cock growth
-Fine, dark chin hairs sprouting
-Increased cock sensitivity
-Increased appetite
-Slight increase in irritability
Hey, I completely agree with you. I'm not pre-op because I don't intend on physically transitioning. But I am gender non-conforming because I am trans ftm. It is an issue for many people in society who need to classify people to feel comfortable and quite frankly. I don't fit into the women category or man category. I think this may be an issue for my professional career though as I will be going into Law. what do you think?
Having a non-binary gender identity can be difficult to navigate in professions in which you’re dealing directly with a great deal of people. For instance, if you use gender neutral pronouns, you basically have to give a “Gender Neutral Pronouns 101” speech to every person you’re working with or encounter at your job. Similarly, if your pronouns or name don’t appear to “match” your gender, you will have to formally explain the reason for that to co-workers and new people who you meet and hope that they will comply. Bathroom access might be difficult, as well, if you work in a building that has gender-segregated restrooms.
It may be difficult and frustrating to endure, but certainly not impossible. Good self-advocacy will be of assistance to you. I wish you luck on your journey!
