...And miles to go before I sleep
Hey, I completely agree with you. I’m not pre-op because I don’t intend on physically transitioning. But I am gender non-conforming because I am trans ftm. It is an issue for many people in society who need to classify people to feel comfortable and quite frankly. I don’t fit into the women category or man category. I think this may be an issue for my professional career though as I will be going into Law. what do you think?

Having a non-binary gender identity can be difficult to navigate in professions in which you’re dealing directly with a great deal of  people. For instance, if you use gender neutral pronouns, you basically have to give a “Gender Neutral Pronouns 101” speech to every person you’re working with or encounter at your job. Similarly, if your pronouns or name don’t appear to “match” your gender, you will have to formally explain the reason for that to co-workers and new people who you meet and hope that they will comply. Bathroom access might be difficult, as well, if you work in a building that has gender-segregated restrooms.

It may be difficult and frustrating to endure, but certainly not impossible. Good self-advocacy will be of assistance to you. I wish you luck on your journey!
